The Year Around: Poems for Children selected by Alice I. Hazeltine and Elva S. Smith

An Illustrated Treasury of Read-Aloud Poems for Young People

Edward Lear's Complete Nonsense

Robert Louis Stevenson's A Child's Garden of Verses

Edited to add: The Year Around might be hard to find, but it's a great resource for seasonal poems for memory work.

We like Favorite Poems, Old and New and Be Glad Your Nose is on Your Face. DD has been on a poetry kick lately so we've read Beskow's Around the Year, A Child's Garden of Verses, Poems to Read to the Very Young (I got it when DD was a baby, but it's illustrated by Eloise Wilkin, whose artwork we both love) and looked at a couple of different volumes of Mother Goose rhymes.
