Laura Corin
The kids ended up pretty much organising their own activities and the parents stepped back (just helping out with transport). I took her for a walk around our village on Saturday morning, then fed her before she and Calvin went into school so he could rehearse for a concert that night. On Sunday, they went ice skating with a group of friends. The night before she went back the sky was very clear, so we took her to Dundee observatory. She wants to be an astronomer. She had gone on lots of more Scotland-specific trips during the week, so I don't feel that she missed out. Her school doesn't really do extra-curricular activities like choirs and composition, so she was excited about that. Thanks again, Laura
Donna
We took our kids to the distillery tour for Tullamore Dew in Ireland while there. They enjoyed seeing how it was made and there were "kids centered activities" like period costumes in one area, buttons to push and pull, lots of historical information and pictures, and a scavenger hunt questionnaire for which they received a small prize for completing. It was fun even if they couldn't have a taste of it when finished.

Sounds like a perfect visit for her. :)
