cjgrubbs
I have so enjoyed reading and learning about TOG from this group. I have gone back and forth and I *thought* I was decided on AAH for next year but now I'm looking at TOG again and thinking I just might buy one quarter and see how I like it. I know I would love the printed version but really for the cost I'm wondering if I can make do with the digital. I won't need any rhetoric stuff as my oldest will be 7th. I have a hand me down laser printer that prints about 3000 sheets (B & W only) to one $85 cartridge so it's economical. I think I can live without all the pretty colors. For one quarter approximately how many pages would it be to print? Also, does TOG every recommend using The Light and The Glory series? I kind of like it for the youngers and was just curious. melmichigan
Glancing through the unit we are on there are anywhere from 50-70 pages in each week. That is for everything.
TheAutumnOak
I print the entire thing plus an extra set of student pages for my oldest...I also print the maps for my son...I print about 500 pages per unit...The TOG plan per unit (for year 1, I am not sure about other years) is between 425-450 pages per unit...
