amo_mea_filiis.
Can anyone give me worst and best case? My mother had some bleeding (if it matters, prior to bleeding, had intense itching, Dr prescribed estrogen cream). Dr did an exam and wants her to go for an internal ultrasound and biopsy. As far as I know, she doesn't have any pain, and I don't know how much bleeding was bleeding. She's not going for the ultrasound or biopsy. What's the best and worst that this could be? Ailaena
She's not going for the ultrasound or biopsy. What's the best and worst that this could be? Benign polyps <--------> uterine cancer Actually, because of the itching, it could just be irritation. I have no idea from where the blood is coming. Uterine cancer is VERY treatable if caught early, I would highly, HIGHLY recommend at least the ultrasound, and a biopsy should be über-quick and little more than uncomfortable. Legomom
If it helps, tell her someone else (me) thinks she needs to have it done. It is easy and worth it.
dtsmamtj
Just had those same procedures done to rule out uterine cancer.
amo_mea_filiis.
The biggest problem is that she doesn't even want to what they're ruling out or looking for, because if you say it, you're speaking word curses over her. I don't know how to tell her that it needs to be done!
