Halcyon
Is it worth it? In particular, do you find it useful to supplement your science and history reading? Is it too expensive for what it is?
Mrs Mungo
My sister uses audible because she does data entry for work, and listens to a lot of audio books. You get one credit a month, which basically amounts to one book a month. Books are usually cheaper than if you bought them from iTunes. We figured out that big books were significantly cheaper. The GoT books were about $12 cheaper than iTunes, and that was for each book. She also gets extra credits sometimes and there are often books on sale. So, she seems to feel that it is a really good deal.
jentancalann
Here's a tip. Sign up for the trial then forget to cancel for a month or two. When you finally go to cancel they will give you a "wait! Can we talk you into staying?" Rate. I think mine was like 7.99 or something for one credit a month. We like it!
