Puppy Picture

Recommended Posts

Since everyone's sharing cute puppy pictures, I thought I'd add one of our puppy..... :D ...and yes, he's still a puppy at 16 months!

Here's our boy Kayak going Winner's Dog/Best of Winners at a show a couple of weekends ago. That's Molly handling. And it goes without saying that as a 4-H'er, she's also done all his training and grooming.

I remember seeing Molly on TV last year (was it the Today Show?) when she was competing with her dog at Westminster. I thought that was so incredibly cool! Did she end up going to the Eukanuba show last fall, too? I seem to remember that she was invited, but I'm not sure about that.

Molly is such a lovely girl, and Kayak ROCKS!

Yes, it was the Today Show. She was competing with her older dog,

GRCH CH VLA Seelowen Danika, CD, DD, CGC, TDI (all titles earned by Molly) whose call name is "Dani." Dani is retired from the breed ring now, and is living the life of a spoiled spayed dog, though Molly is working on her advanced carting title and rally titles, so there will undoubtedly be more letters to come after her name. She was invited to Eukanuba but didn't go because now she's a busy high school freshman, and we worried about taking her out of school for so long. Perhaps next year with Ky.

We've put the brakes on with Ky for a little while because he's two points away from earning his championship and we don't want him to earn it before we go to our National Specialty show in Wisconsin in April. If he's already a CH he'll have to compete in the champion male class and he's just a pup. Better to hold off and put him in classes with other dogs his age than the big, mature boys!

We'll see--- he's looking good so far. We love him to pieces anyway. :001_smile:
