AuntieM
Have you seen this film? What did you think? Is it based on The Borrows books?

amey311
It IS based on the Borrowers. It says so in the previews.
bettyandbob
Dd 14, ds 10 with disabilities and I went last weekend. dd is a big fan of Miyazaki. It was a good story and an interesting interpretation. Dd really liked it. ds and I both enjoyed it. Some parts may be frightening for some children, but overall I don't recall anything objectionable.

JFSinIL
It is the Borrowers - moved into a house in the Japanese countryside in current times, but that is o.k. Carol Burnett steals the film as the voice of the housekeeper. Great film - fine for kids and lovely for adults (Studio Ghibli can do no wrong.)
