Veritaserum
I had a partial previa with bleeding and contractions, which was scary. Today I met with a perinatologist to check on the placenta's location. It has moved a few centimeters away from the cervix. Baby boy looks perfect. The peri declared me to be a normal pregnant lady. I am so relieved and I am so happy to be able to return to normal activity! :) I am so out of shape now, though. :svengo: I need a bedrest to 5k sort of regime. I went to Costco after my appointment because we were out of things like fresh produce and toilet paper. (Dh did his best, but he is way out of his element on what our household needs. ;)) I was pretty tired just from shopping. I would love to now put my house back together, but I will pace myself. :tongue_smilie:

UmMusa
Congratulations! Do some daily stretching and ease into your normal duties....take care!
Mom-ninja.
Congrats on being a normal pg lady. :001_smile: Just focus on walking and maybe a prenatal yoga DVD. Denise Austin's prenatal DVD is good. Just ease into it slowly.
Forget-Me-Not
:party:Does this mean you might be able to deliver vaginally now too?
Starr
Great news! Take it easy now that you're up. It takes a while to strengthen those formally bedridden muscles.
Veritaserum
:party:Does this mean you might be able to deliver vaginally now too? Unless something else becomes a problem, I can have a vaginal birth. :) I am glad for a number of reasons, but not needing to recover from surgery with a newborn and five other kids was high on the list. I'll start with stretching and walking to build up some stamina.
Quill
That is great news, but please do be careful and take it easy. I wouldn't worry too much about getting into shape until after sweet lil' bump gets here safe and sound. :grouphug:
Catwoman
I agree with the others who have suggested that you still take it easy. It's great to be off bedrest, but not so great to be put back on it because you overdid the activity. If you can, let someone else handle the Costco runs, and save your energy for a few fun things that you really want to do. Take it easy the rest of the time, just to be safe. PrincessMommy
It's hard to really take it easy while pregnant and having a housefull - but take it easy too. I'm glad you're out of the woods though and hope you can build up a little stamina. How about try walking a little bit everyday?

janie_ranae
I'm so happy for you! Try to savor your mobility. :001_smile: A friend of mine, who is 24 weeks along in her pregnancy, just found out Friday that she is to take it easy for the same reason. We are hoping and praying that things will change soon.
mommymilkies
Yay! I would just slowly work up your walking. :)
VeganCupcake
That's wonderful! Like PPs suggested, I would just gradually increase your walking, too.

Veritaserum
We had a plumbing crisis this morning that forced me to clean the bathroom. Nothing gets the blood flowing like mopping up a flood of dirty toilet water and disinfecting the bathroom. :tongue_smilie: I think that's my workout for the day! And dh has promised me a reward for having to deal with it by myself. What should I ask for? Hmm....
