charlotteb
DD is in 6th grade and is doing Ancient History this year. We are doing one literature selection a month and I need an idea for March. This month she is reading two books: "Archimedes and the Door to Science" and "Erastothones- the Man who Measured the Earth", since they are both pretty short . For April and May, I have her reading "The Bronze Bow" and then "Outcast". So I need somethign in between. Maybe early Roman times or something else around the same time. She is a very good reader so don't make it too easy please! Thanks!

Candid
I also recommend Theras, but you might also read Detectives in Togas.

love2read
City of the Golden House By Madeleine Polland Word to Caesar by Geoffrey Trease Picked these up from Hillside over the summer and the kids loved them. Corresponding study guides were very good too, if you're looking for something like that.
