CalicoKat
The new dog treed a kitten during their break outside. Oh the horror! Shall I call them back in or let them figure out how to get the poor hopeless tree climbing barn kitty out of the tree. I've seen the ladder go by...... GoVanGogh
You've got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em Know when to walk away, know when to run. BTDT. We have construction going on directly behind our house. Some days I just can't compete with all that cool construction equipment.

plansrme
Yep, throw in the towel. I lost a day of my 8 yo's education last week when a big tree was being taken down about 6 feet outside my basement door. I let him pull his chair over and sit half-in and half-out of the glass door. I salvaged what I could by having him do a rubbing of the stump before it was ground, but mostly I just conceded. Though I did put in a plug for homeschooling--ps kids would never have gotten to do that! So at least take advantage of the marketing opportunity!
