Remudamom
and then frozen them for later? I want to put some chicken salad (minus the egg) in some and see what happens. Nevermind. Mrs Mungo
No...but, thinking about it? Most of the stuffed-pastry items in the freezer section have been cooked prior to being frozen. So...I think I would cook them and then freeze.
PrincessMommy
The original Once a Month Cooking had a stuffed crescent roll chicken recipe. I'm sure it used cream cheese instead of (or with) mao. I no longer have the book and cannot remember if they were cooked prior to freezing or not. I'd love to find the recipe again because it was great as a grab and go snack.
TXMomof4
The OAM cooking book has you keep the filling and the crescent rolls separate. The filling for those is cream cheese, chicken and chives (although I usually use dill). Let us know how they turn out if you try them. I always forget to use the crescent rolls before they expire.
