Mrs Mungo
My dh was asking me about a magazine subscription because he got a bill in the mail for one that I subscribe to. I looked it up online and my subscription doesn't expire for over a year! Quit sending me "bills" when I don't owe you any money! :glare:
Mynyel
:iagree: Like Consumer Reports did when I let it expire. They sent me a few *FINAL* notices and that my subscription would be canceled if I didn't remit payment immedieately. Humph, good! It was what I wanted anyway! Annie G
Every week we get at least 2 calls from someone wanting to talk to us about our Discover subscription, and trying to get us to renew before it expires. And twice a week I remind them that we haven't subscribed to Discover magazine for at LEAST the past ten years. Sometimes when I 'remind' them, they hang up on me. g But they still call... In the Rain
:iagree: Dh subscribed to Nat'l Geographic. Our renewal notice arrived BEFORE the first issue. :glare:
gingersmom
I stopped subscribing to my local paper because they are so shady. I paid for a one year subscription. I did not renew when it ran out. They kept sending me the paper and then a bill. I called and said I did not renew my subscription. They said they realized that, but whatever, and I owed them for the papers they had sent. Not a chance that was happening.
Mrs Mungo
I got a renewal notice today for National Geographic, and we don't even subscribe to that one.
