Singingmom
Not sure what you mean, but I am going to be using this curriculum with my 5 year old ( just turned 5) boy.

boscopup
I've been using it (loosely) with my 5 year old. We actually started it a month before he turned 5. He'll officially be "K" next school year. It's been just right for a young 5 year old that isn't particularly advanced (if your child is reading chapter books and doing multiplication, you'll need to beef it up a lot ;) ). ....
The first time I taught MFW K, it was with a 5 yro. This time around...my daughter will be 5 in October and I'm going to start this fall (so, late 4 - early 5).
melissamomof5
I am using it with my 3rd child now. My first and second did it together, not on purpose, but my 2nd daughter really wanted to participate. So, my oldest daughter was 5 1/2 and my 2nd was barely 4 when they started K together. Then I waited a year with my 2nd before doing 1st with her. My 3rd daughter is just 5 this year doing K.
j_thurm
We loved MFW K! You can easily extend it to older kids too though. Kind of like a unit study approach. I think my oldest was 2nd grade at the time.
