ThisIsTheDay
I told you how much I loved the mirrors flanking your mantle. Dh found a pair that we both really liked, at Walmart of all places, and they were ~$45 each. I know some of the other posters didn't like them, but I wanted to show you where we put ours. Dh would love for me to commit to spending any money in our living room, but I've resisted until now. He's hopeful I'll finally agree now to window coverings, lol. MariannNOVA
Beautiful! Marianne -- will you post a pic of yours too? Alley OK -- but they are what they are and no suggestions on how to them look better. LOL!:lol::lol::lol::lol: I'm just kidding -- yes - I will see if I can find a photo that has nothing to do with my real estate listing -- I did read through pages of excellent suggestions and comments last week and I've done some of what was easily do-able -- basically changed things to look more light and spring like, new bedspreads, etc. I have to run out to wegman's -- I will post photo when I get back. gardening momma
I'm curious--can you hang those kind of mirrors if you want to? Do they have the hardware for it?

crazyforlatin
Your home looks staged! Very lovely! Tell us your home is on the market and you all have moved out.
ThisIsTheDay
LOL, my dh has always preferred our house look like no one really lives in it. Over the years, we've both compromised. Before I took the picture, I did take today's newspaper off the coffee table. :D And we don't usually eat in the dining room. I try to leave those two rooms the way he likes them; kitchen and family room, not so much. Gardening Momma, I don't think they came with any hardware, but I could be mistaken. I think they came with little rubber things so give a bit of friction on the floor (or not mar the wall?). Now I can wait for my cats to run behind one and knock it over--or an earthquake.
