Jean in Newcastle
if you are starting with a "round little belly that shakes when you laugh like a bowl full of jelly"? I'm doing 5 days of cardio, one of which has a hard core/abs workout.
KellyGirl
I was having an AWFUL time getting my abs back to the point where I could even do a few sit ups after the last baby (I could knock out 40 or 50 easily before I got pregnant), and my chiropractor told me to just spend time tightening them throughout the day. She suggested making a game of it - like every time someone says "four" tighten and hold for 10 seconds. And whenever you do any exercise be aware of your core and try to keep it tight. I have been doing this for about a month, and it has helped a lot more than the stuff I was doing for the few months before. So if you can't work in a full ab workout, maybe this could help you. TheApprentice
I like to do planks throughout the day for a minute (no less) or longer. They are good for your entire core.
