I donated a mare to a church based camp program last summer. I need to get an appraisal for tax purposes. I have googled and searched local businesses but I haven't found anything. Anyone have any ideas? :001_smile: Have you checked into the Equine Now website? They have lots of information and you may be able to get an idea of what horses in your area are bringing. black_midori Posted February 14, 2012 Share Posted February 14, 2012 Just make sure they (who you donated to) give you paperwork CLEARLY lists all of the things required by the IRS.
