Can anyone tell me:

Are the answers to text exercises in the back of the text?

Are the answers to the workbook exercises in the back of the workbook?

Can the 2nd edition text be used with 1st edition audio?

Thanks!

In case this is useful to anyone else, here is what I've found in my research.

It looks like the Alternate Edition on Amazon is simply the text without the accompanying comprehension audio CDs and is the text that is referenced at McGraw Hill. isbn 0072497084. If you want to buy combined text and audio cd's for edition 2 you should get isbn 0072525363.

Edition 2 has comprehension audio cd's that you need in order to do the exercises in the text. Edition 1 does not have these. (Both editions have audio cd's that accompany the workbooks)

1st edition text: 0070020698 or 0070672210

workbook 1: 0070020728

workbook 2: 0070020736

I'm going back a ways since I haven't used these materials in years, but I don't believe the answers are in the back of the book. In fact, I was just doing a search yesterday to find worksheets for Destinos to use with my Spanish class, and I saw a lot of "Where can I find the answers to the Destinos workbook?"-type questions. I guess the school kids are looking for the answers, which means they aren't in the book.

Sorry I couldn't be more definitive.
