momto2Cs
Due to changes in things around here, really need to cut corners as much as possible. I'm looking for inspiration, so please, give me your favorite frugal living blogs, forums/message boards, books, etc. Thanks!
ErinD
Frugal Village (http://www.frugalvillage.net, I think) and the Dollar Stretcher (http://www.stretcher.com) are both great. Both have articles and forums.
kubiac
The Simple Dollar - http://www.thesimpledollar.com/ And get a copy of The Complete Tightwad Gazette post-hasty! That book is the best way I know of to really change your whole thinking about household spending. Oh, that and The Millionaire Next Door, which I re-read every two years or so. Soror
moneysavingmom hillbillyhousewife getrichslowly Check out the thread I started here while back: http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=338595 I ditto a pp that mentioned Tightwad Gazette, it covers everything. I read one a few weeks ago called "America's Cheapest Family Gets you Right on the Money" that had good tips as well. "Your Money or Your Life" is good for tackling this from your own mindset and not just about deprivation but making conscious choices. Dave Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover" gives good practical tips for budgeting that will be a great start.
