mommy5
We are starting 2nd grade soon with my 7 yr old ... I've changed around what we are going to use based on some advice and postings on this forum. :) I want to make sure this isn't too much... PAL-Reading (3x a week) PAL-Writing w/AAS Level 1 (2x a week) CLE-LA100 (daily) CLE-MA100 (daily) Daily Geography Bible Reading (2x a week) Apologia Science (2x a week) (We will be doing one quarter of US History) Artist Study (1x a week) Nature Study (1x a week) Possibly Music History Study (1x a week)
jenni33
Looks pretty good. Are you planning on excluding the spelling lists from CLE LA? If you are using AAS, I would skip the spelling in CLE.
raceNzanesmom
Looks good. We do spelling everyday, even if it's only review and a few dictations. And, yes, don't do two spellings. AAS is plenty on its own.
Bloggermom
Looks great! I would consider adding in First Language Lessons to the mix. I have found it to be indispensable even though we use CLE LA as well.
