tammyw
My son wants me to get a book on this :) Any suggestions?
3peasinapod
Hmmmmm, do you have a human body encyclopedia? I know our Usborne First Encyclopedia of the Human Body has some eyes in it. I don't think you'd want to purchase it, though, for just the eye section. I'll be interested to see what cool eye books are out there! :tongue_smilie:
frugalmama
Scholastic has a great eye model - we got ours through the book clubs catalog on clearance for $3.
ssavings
Montessori Print Shop has a cute set of printable eye nomenclature cards, but I guess that would be more the various parts of the eye then the mechanics of it...

I should look through them for sure. But I was hoping for a really cool "eye only" resource also!
PeterPan
Hmmm, you should take him to a developmental optometrist and get his eyes checked (just a regular vision eval) but let them explain all the things they're doing! They check extra things that a regular optometrist doesn't check (convergence, eye teaming, etc.), so it's extra fascinating. You go to COVD to find a developmental optometrist. They don't cost particularly more, but they check more. I take all of us to one now.
3peasinapod
The eye model thing sounds really cool. I was thinking of books, but this is great!
