DawnM
Is there really a difference? We need another computer monitor. Should we get a strain computer monitor or get a TV that can double as a monitor? Does it matter? Thoughts? Thanks, Dawn
DawnM
Um, all of the above?????
Riverland
I'm no expert except through osmosis from dh. Same here! That said, we have 2 computers hooked up to t.v's. We found this to be the most economical, multi-purpose, bang for your buck.
DawnM
That is what I am thinking. I also thought that maybe this could be the monitor Dh uses when he works from home (somewhat rare really) and during the times he is not using it, I could use it in the kitchen or spare room if I wanted to watch TV or a roku show. Riverland
Yep. DH uses one as his monitor when he works from home. Otherwise, it is available for tv, netflix, roku, etc. The other large screen tv is hooked up to a computer in our living room. I can surf the net on a 50" screen, watch tv, netflix, xbox, wii, etc. from it.
DawnM
Thanks. I am still open to either. Can you hook up a Roku box to just a monitor? We have plenty of TVs really. But I hate to have something just sitting there most of the time without any other purpose either. Dawn
