hollyh
I'm looking for a friend. She has a 5yo, 7yo, 9yo. She wants some science curriculum (probably best if they could all do together). She wants something easy that she basically wouldn't have to teach. Maybe something like watch a dvd and then do something after. I don't know. Any ideas? PeterPan
The BJU4 would work well for that. She can look at the Timberdoodle catalog and get fun add-ons to go with the topics, like Snap Circuits for when they cover electricity, anatomy puzzles for when they have units on the body, etc. It's a solution that will keep working for her over the years too. Lovedtodeath
Even better: http://www.hometrainingtools.com/kits-for-bob-jones-curriculum/c/49/
MamaReads
Not video, but I've been thinking about these monthly kits. Homeschool Buyers Coop features them pretty often: http://www.theyoungscientistsclub.com/TYSCsubscription/ There is also a version that uses Magic School Bus & she could get those videos from most libraries.
