BamaTanya
with all those cases? I was using a CD/DVD wallet, but now that it has gotten full, it won't close completely and some of the pages don't open all the way, making it difficult to get some discs out. So . . . I thought I'd move my workout DVDs over to a storage box. I could organize them by cardio, strength, and stretch/yoga, so I could just flip through that category each day and pick one depending upon my time constraints and my mood. :D I saw these: http://www.amazon.com/Innovera-Storage-Hinged-Holds-Discs/dp/B001HA0KZ2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328059978&sr=8-1 http://www.amazon.com/Compucessory-DVD-Storage-Sleeves-Clear/dp/B000FD7VE0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328060038&sr=8-1 And then I ran across this one that seems to be a variation on the theme: http://www.amazon.com/Atlantic-96635496-Parade-Stores-Black/dp/B00146E50U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328060123&sr=8-1 If you've used anything like this, did you like it? I need to keep my stuff organized and accessible to stay motivated, but I don't want to waste my money, especially since I didn't see any when I was shopping today and I'm not sure how I'd like them. Cosmos
We recently moved to using sleeves. Or I should say, we're in the process. We haven't yet worked out how we're going to store the sleeves. Right now they're on the same shelves the cases were on (but taking up WAY less space!). These are the ones we got -- http://www.univenture.com/shop/viewpak_xg_cd_dvd_sleeve_with_safety_sleeve_pack_of_10.php You can get single sleeves as well as ones for multi-cd albums. My dh did a lot of research and settled on this brand because you retain all of the inserts that come with the disc. Our goal was mainly to save space, as we have limited shelving and hundreds of cds.

I use a product from the same company: http://www.unikeep.com/disc-storage/disc-wallets/unikeep-disc-10-cd-dvd-wallet-with-10-jewelpak-pages.html I LOVE them. We use them not for movies, but for series (Teaching Company DVDs, audio books on multiple CDs, and our new collection of Top Gear DVDs - SO hard to get out of the packaging they came in, I knew we'd eventually crack one of the DVDs trying to pry it out of the case :glare:). Highly recommended -- not expensive; archival; easy to get the DVDs in and out; you can put any inserts in the sleeves behind each DVD; saves space; etc. etc.!!!
