Question about CWP and IP

We are working through SM1a. We are about to start subtraction which is the third topic. I was looking through the IP and I think that DS would enjoy doing some of the pages from the first two sections. How do you work these in? I am thinking that I will wait awhile on CWP, but am not sure. We do math 4-5 days a week, but I use more than one program (SM, Miquon and some MEP). We spend about 20-30 minutes on math per day (split into 2-3 different lessons throughout the morning). How do you schedule the IP and the CWP? Do you do it a few days a week or have one day a week just do the extras? Sorry to ramble!

We do SM & Miquon. Didn't start IP until she was in SM2. Then we started on IP1. We'd do some SM and then 1-2 pgs of Miquon or IP - maybe doing 1-2 ages a day in the summer too just to keep things fresh. Didn't try to coordinate any of it. Also found as we were further along sometimes we'd skip an IP or Miquon book to try to keep on some sort of track.

With my oldest through 5A, I did them after she finished the chapter in the textbook (she didn't use the workbook). Right now things are a bit in flux because I'm trying to figure out a new schedule incorporating Singapore Discovering Math 1, Horizons Pre-Algebra, the Primary Math 5B-6B IP books, and the Primary Math CWP 5 & 6 books.

With my DS, I'm alternating between the 1B textbook, the 1A IP, CWP 1, and also Right Start B.
