toawh
A question for anyone in France or who knows about the French school system. We will possibly be moving to France before the new school year begins. My ds will be entering first grade there (I think. I'm not sure how it goes there. He will be six). Is there anything I should try cover with him before he starts. I don't speak French so it's gonna be swimming in deep waters for me. He speaks French and can read a bit. He knows basic math skills of a 1st grader as per Saxon. I guess since I have no idea what the schools there expect Kindergarten to have covered so I don't know how to prepare him for it. Any input would be welcome.
yvonne
You might want to post this to the bilingual board for more responses. There are some very helpful women there who are familiar with the French system.
