motherdear
High School is so HARD for my Aspie. While I believe Math will be okay with all its rules, and lots of hand-holding will get him through IEW(As Jill Pike repeatedly encourages me), I wonder about the AGONY of Apologia--the ABSTRACT concepts we struggle through daily, and his apparent inability to narrate a history lesson back for the most part. Is Barb Shelton the answer? There are SOOO many details but not enough space or time to write about everything. General answers would be a good start. funnygirl
Have you looked at Linguisystems?? Lots of discussion about it on this board lately. I'm just starting it with my dd13, but it certainly seems to specifically address the executive function issues that affect abstract thinking.
