Panna Cotta question

So I got all the stuff (I thought) for Ina Garten's recipe for Panna Cotta, except it calls for 3C of Heavy Cream and I only got 2. (Boo! I shoulda read more carefully)

 

Can I use half and half or whole milk for the last cup instead? Will it refuse to set up if I do? I've had a head cold all week and still have the headache, I'd rather not run out to the store if I don't have to.

I wouldn't use whole milk -- you might be able to get away with half and half, but truthfully, I would send someone out to the store for another thing of heavy cream.

 

And, what time is dessert -- I will be there!;)

 

Well, no one is dressed or showered here today, so I think I'll go with the half and half.
