simka2
Where do you buy your supplies? What do you buy?
mamakim
If you want one-stop shopping for all that you mentioned, with really nice cultures and the supplies all lined up, this is a good place: http://www.culturesforhealth.com/ You can find individual items cheaper elsewhere, but the quality there is excellent. I bought my last kefir grains from an etsy seller. The Cultures for Health lady has some yogurt cultures that don't require a yogurt maker, too, since they will culture the yogurt at room temperature (don't require the low heat of other cultures). I've seen grains on Craigslist, but I'm just squeamish about cleanliness. That's probably ridiculous on my part having bought from an etsy shop - like what's the difference? OH well :o. Tiberia
I went through kefirlady online for our kefir grains. They were good quality. She'll send you the grains and then after you get them, you send her $20 cash. She's a little different, but her products are good.
milovany
We use Hoeger for cheese making supplies. Not sure if they have the others as we just get those locally.
