Susan C.
We had a progress evaluation yesterday, after 14 vision therapy sessions, optometrist said "perfect vision." Dd doesn't even need glasses! Oh what a six months this has been. What a way to finish homeschooling, what a senior year. Hectic, but dd can read like crazy now, she wants to be an English major (Art minor). Never would have happened without fixing her vision! One more appointment for maintenance instructions. Then I won't want to get in the car again for awhile (it was seven hours round trip.) And I get 3-4 months homeschooling dd without vision problems in the way of her progress. What a way to go out! More info. on SN board, sorry I don't know how to link!
Kareni
What wonderful news for your daughter, Susan. I hope she has many hours of reading pleasure ahead of her. And how wonderful to have all that driving behind you; enjoy some peaceful time at home now. Regards, Kareni

love2read
I'm curious about this. What was her diagnosis and was it a new problem or something that had been slowing down her reading for years?
Susan C.
I'm curious about this. What was her diagnosis and was it a new problem or something that had been slowing down her reading for years? I have a very long explanation on the Special Needs forum. Let me know if you need to know anything else! Sorry, I don't know how to link...
