swellmomma
Does anyone have a very gently used copy of the usborne book "There's a Monster in my House" that you will sell me? We borrowed it from the library a while back and my daughter cut some of the flaps out. The library wants $25 to replace it. It is OOP now it appears so I can't buy off of amazon, but as long as it is in almost new condition they will waive the fee for replacing it. So does anyone have a copy of this book they would be willing to sell me? If I can get it for cheaper than $25 including shipping that would be good. sewingmama
There are two copies on Ebay Canada. They are shipping from the UK. I have bought from the UK before when I was living in Canada -shipping is super fast - for a book it should be little more then a week or so shipping. http://www.ebay.ca/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=theres+a+monster+in+my+house&_sacat=See-All-Categories
Guest submarines
abebooks.com has really good shipping rates to Canada. I order from them all the time. Even those books that are from the UK, are shipped for normal prices, and not the inflated shipping rates we often get from the US.

Of course I may end up buying more than the 1 book that I need  So is the life of a bookaholic :D

Of course I may end up buying more than the 1 book that I need  So is the life of a bookaholic :D It is cheaper if you find several books from the same bookseller. :D So, for example, the book that you need might be found in several stores, for similar prices, but then you check what other books that you might want each of those stores have. This way you save on shipping, and end up with more books. :001_huh:
