Living books on ancients

We are reading many on the lists in the above threads. I have a 7th and 2nd grader and our greatest success is D'Auleries Greek Myths. I am reading it aloud since they are each reading their own books, and they would rather I read than playing video games which is saying a lot for my boys.

I don't know, but probably not. The boys love it because it is a bit scary. They hang on to every word, but I could see it being a problem. Mine also understand myth, and fairy tale, so I don't have the problem with "real"
