kristinannie
I would love your list of favorite read alouds on ancients! I am trying to put together a list for next year. We do a very CM style, especially in history. My oldest will be in 1st grade! Thanks!

linguistmama
We've used some of the Choll read aloud suggestions. Here is a link with Sonlight books in WTM 4 year cycle order.

In2why
We are reading many on the lists in the above threads. I have a 7th and 2nd grader and our greatest success is D'Auleries Greek Myths. I am reading it aloud since they are each reading their own books, and they would rather I read than playing video games which is saying a lot for my boys. Would this be good for a 1st grader and a pre-K?
ladydusk
Would this be good for a 1st grader and a pre-K? My 6 & 7 year olds are loving the Greek Myths. My 4 year old likes them, but isn't as enamored. YMMV.

In2why
Yy Would this be good for a 1st grader and a pre-K? I don't know, but probably not. The boys love it because it is a bit scary. They hang on to every word, but I could see it being a problem. Mine also understand myth, and fairy tale, so I don't have the problem with "real"
