MorganClassicalPrep
ME!!!! Since my mom and I decided to move in together, we've been looking around for 3 bedrooms. (4 bedrooms are hard to find in my area, and if you find them- out of our price range!) The house we just committed to has a partially finished basement that will be perfect for all our stuff! It'll actually be half office/library for me and half homeschool room. I can't wait to start decorating!!!! :D
MorganClassicalPrep
LOL. In my excitement I forgot to ask, does anyone else have a room split between adult office and kid room? If so, I'd love to see pictures.

elegantlion
My classroom is also my office. We have three desks in a small room. One is for ds, one is for my computer set up and my paperwork, and the third is butted up against ds's so I we can face each other when we work. Most of my non-school stuff is writing and personal. I don't keep the bills in there as those are dh's realm. Sorting organizers are great to keep the personal stuff from overrunning the school stuff. I have some pictures on my profile, they are recent. I practically live in the classroom, but dh and I have had a home office since before ds was born. In fact his nursery decor was home office because we had a tiny house. Good organization is key when you mix school with non-school. I've used every type of organizer available and I still rearrange it all at least every 6 months. I do like pretty boxes, like you can find at Marshalls/TJ Maxx. Have fun, it sounds like it's going to be great!
Swimtaxi234
I used to have my "office" and the schoolroom together, but in our current house, they are separate. It is only 25-30 steps when I need something printed or scanned, but it was really nice when they were in the same room. ENJOY your new space.:001_smile:
