S/O of Craigslist scams... a way to avoid getting the scam emails...

When you post on CL you can show, hide or anon your email. *HIDE* it. Then in your listing post a phone number like this:

 

800-555- one 2 one 2

 

When you list your email in the listing do it like this:

 

myemail AT gmail DOT com

 

It is a pita but keeps scams at bay. The machines that scrape the info from the listings can't read past that jargon so if you get responses they are more than likely real.
