KidsHappen
The first week was pure hell, extreme aggitation, irratibility, nausea, headaches and muscle pain. I had to increase my Xanax intake just to get through the days but the second week wass much better. Now I only have small periods of time each day where I feel a little anxious and while I don't think I am out of the woods yet I am having moments where I feel almost normal. Yesterday for the first time, I was feeling like my old self for quite a bit of the day. I think I am going to stick with the med and I have hope that things will seriously improve in the near future. Also, on a side note I just noticed that I have had any coffee in at least a week. I kind of lost my desire for it. I am sleeping through the night and awake most of the day. Everything else seems to be working correctly as well IYKWIM. I am pleasantly surprised because I really didn't think this would work out for me. Anyway, hopefully this will give hope to anyone else who is going through this. SailorMom
It took a good three months for me to feel the full benefits on Wellbutrin - so give it plenty of time. It has been a Godsend.:grouphug:
tex-mex
Does coffee upset the stomach? Just curious. I love coffee but it does not love me back. I'm happy to hear you are hanging in there. :grouphug: Keep us posted. :)
mommymilkies
Coffee upsets my stomach though I LOVE the taste. It seemed worse on wellbutrin. Does it upset yours now, OP?

I still couldn't shake the habit, but did have only 1 cup in the morning, and then would have several hours of trembling and shaking. Obviously it wasn't so bad that I stopped either the coffee or Wellbutrin, at least for that reason.

Desert Rat
I'm so glad Wellbutrin is working for you. I was very grateful to have it when I needed it. I hope you continue to improve and have many more moments of feeling like your old self!
