No fleece pants though, but I wear a fleece pullover or a long cardigan a lot. Dh gave me wicked good slippers for Christmas. Those are amazing. HSinNH Posted January 19, 2012 Share Posted January 19, 2012 Wood stove! Our one wood stove heats the entire 2000sf house nicely and you can stand right next to it if you are really cold. It saves a ton of money, but it doesn't provide truly cozy heat. We set it at 68, but if it's below freezing outside, it doesn't quite keep up. If no one else is cold - get your thyroid checked. Low thyroid will make you freeze from the inside out lol. Layers are your friend... Definately - my winter outfit is sweatpants covered by a larger pair of sweatpants, a thin long sleeve t-shirt covered by a sweatshirt covered by a fleece coat. Plus regular socks covered by fleece socks.
