Best time to sell?

It has always seemed that the best time to sell books, whether on here, or if your into selling on other places, would be in the summer. On this site though, it seems to me , that moms are not trying to get the highest price they can, as in , lets say ebay. They are just trying to get reasonable prices for their books, maybe to make money to buy curriculum for the next year. Personally, i would much rather have my money go to another homeschool mom, that save a few bucks buying somewhere else. Just my thoughts :)

I think Feb-March. I think curriculum planning begins then because we are all sick of winter and need something to get us excited again. A lot of the conventions are in the spring so I am guessing they follow the trend of people buying at tax time or at winters end as well.

I know I have started looking, and the sale boards are pretty bare.

I agree with February. Personally, I am already looking for things I need for fall. I have made a list and am checking things off as I buy them. I just bought my Latin program tonight I hope! :D

ETA: I have already posted things I know I am not using. I plan to start gathering stuff soon and I need this stuff gone so I have room.

I'm already buying used things I find that I know we will need. I wait until taxes to buy new.

If you want to sell quickly upon listing, I'd say Feb-March or summer. You'll probably have more competition in the summer, but more buyers also. But, there are people looking anytime.
