My older dd is really doing well with Times Tales, even my younger one is starting to catch on (she is listening, I am not making her do it, yet). Someone on here posted about something kind of like Times Tales, and I can't think of it, or find the thread. Thanks - much appreciated.

Could you be talking about Timez Attack a computer game. You can get several levels for free.

Times Tables the Fun Way? I tried this with my DD but it didn't work for her. I thought it would because she's such a verbal kid but it was harder for her to try to remember the little story than just to learn the facts.

She did much better with Mindware's Multiplication Mosaics.

Also, she needed DH to step in as "bad cop" and suspend her screen privileges until she had them memorized. That lit a fire under her and she got them mastered in a week after months of me unsuccessfully trying a bunch of different approaches.

No, not Timez Attack, she is doing that too. It is similiar to Times Tales where you memorize little stories to help you know you facts. Thanks though.

Sorry I couldn't help.

It's not what you are looking for, but I found Googol Power has some very nice things. Well nice if you can convince your kids to watch or listen. :glare: (Mind you with the very rare exception my kids wouldn't watch anything on tv, and prefer to make there own music to listening to music. So this is in no way saying that most kids wouldn't find it enjoyable.)

Oh Julie, don't be sorry, it is hard to keep up with all theses choices:tongue_smilie: I'll take a close look at your link - thanks for that.
