Wabi Sabi
I'm looking for a book that explains the scientific method to children. I was hoping to find a Magic School Bus or Let's Read and Find Out book without any luck. Know of anything similar that would fit the bill? Thanks. RootAnn
Probably not "the best," but NOEO uses How to Think Like A Scientist.
mc26
We just read Investigating the Scientific Method with Max Axiom. http://www.amazon.com/Investigating-Scientific-Scientist-Graphic-Science/dp/1429617608/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326324193&sr=8-1 It was comic book style and DS9 enjoyed it. Aludlam
Probably not "the best," but NOEO uses How to Think Like A Scientist. I think it's a great book.
2_girls_mommy
I actually just reserved the How to think... one today too. I think it is a little above the Let's Read and Find Out level of learning though, if I remember correctly. When I was searching my library data base today I just looked under Science methodology and found quite a few that I reserved. I don't know which will be on the level of my 2nd grader (who is at the Let's Read and Find Out level...) so I just reserved several to look them over. You might try yours to see what you come up with.
