EKS
If he is sick and feeling poorly and you have him tested, you very likely will not get the answers you need. My son was sick the first time he was tested (IQ and achievement through the local school district) and, based on scores later on, I'm pretty sure his scores were depressed by 20-30 points. Crimson Wife
Could you call and ask to be switched with someone scheduled in a few weeks? There probably is someone willing to take an earlier appointment and then you wouldn't have to wait super-long.
PeterPan
Definitely call and talk it through with them. He's not going to be feeling his best, and you want accurate results. They'll probably move it, no problem.
PrincessAriel
I called this morning and and actually talked to the psychologist. She said to call when he is feeling better to reschedule, that it shouldn't take long to get in and she wouldn't need to do as much testing as she initially thought she would need to do. Thanks for helping me see the big picture!:001_smile:
