Dmmetler Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 DH wants more reasons as to why I need/want/would use an iPad specifically vs the netbook I already have (and have not found particularly useful for school-it gets used mostly when we're on trips and I don't have access to my desktop PC). He doesn't "get" the idea of the app store being a benefit because "there's tons of software out there", and he can't see why DD can't just do PDFs on a computer screen if I don't want to print them. Despite being a software engineer, he's not particularly interested in gadgets for the sake of gadgets-he still carries a very basic cell phone, for example (and it's dead about 3/4 of the time).
