Nakia
can you go check out my question on the "Choosing Sonlight Curriculum" and help me out? It's called, "It's that time of year again!" You can post here; I just didn't want to type it all out again. Link: https://forums.sonlight.com/topic/314262-its-that-time-of-year-again/ I would appreciate your input!! thegirlwhopaintedtrees
Kind of off topic wrt your question, but can I ask why you go from MFW to SL? I am having a hard time choosing between the two, but am leaning more toward MFW b/c it appears to be easier to combine using that. Since you already use MFW, I'm curious as to why you switched to SL after MFW1.

I am having a hard time choosing between the two, but am leaning more toward MFW b/c it appears to be easier to combine using that. Since you already use MFW, I'm curious as to why you switched to SL after MFW1. We used MFW for two years: ECC and Creation to the Greeks. We enjoyed ECC very much, but we found the spines for CtG incredibly boring. The other big thing we had a hard time with was the book basket. We don't have a great library system here, so the book basket never did work for us. With SL, the books are built into the curriculum. We love having them all right here. I do think MFW is an excellent program; it just didn't work for our family.
thegirlwhopaintedtrees
Thank you for your response. That was helpful to me. Makes me question what to do next year now. I was going to use ctg, bit maybe I'll look at SL again.
