mindygz
I'd like one with a lot of the "classic" folk-type songs that everybody should know. :001_smile: Songs that are fun to learn and sing. Thanks!
julikins
I have these books by Abeka called "Songs We Enjoy" then they are graded, I have grades 1-6. I don't know if they still make these or sell them, we got them used. But they have songs divided by month that you can learn each month by grade. It's really fun for the kids. I also have their newer song book that has more hymns and choruses in it, but I haven't used it that much.
Alte Veste Academy
My favorite is The Great Family Songbook. A close second is The Library of Children's Song Classics.
stripe
I have the two volumes (vol 1 and vol 2) Pete Seeger's Get America Singing Again, and they aren't bad, and they certainly were cheap ($3.95 each), but they aren't perfect. I posted this in this thread about children's songs, which was a nice thread that might help. http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=294837
