KidsHappen
My hubby is studying cryptology and this particular section is talking about time but we don't know what the symbol is called or how to type it to look it up.
Mergath
I'm not sure which letter you're talking about, but you could do a search for "greek alphabet" on wikipedia and see if it's one of those. If it is, it'll be linked to various uses for it.
Carpe
This http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamma#Lower_case or this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lambda#Lower-case_letter_.CE.BB ? If it's neither of those I have no idea.
MeaganS
I'm guessing lambda, which I think is often wavelength?
Pamela H in Texas
As for how to type it. If you are doing it in Word, you can do alt-955, but it will not work in firefox. I looked it up and it seems I'm not the only one who can't do it here on the board. It is driving me batty :) λ You CAN copy in Word and Paste onto the board.
