lorrainejmc
Dd10 is coming near the end of the UK spelling programme we are using. She is a natural speller so we are moving on VFCR grade 4 book. Anyone use this at this level? If so, what do I need? I see a workbook, teachers guide/answer key and tests. Can I just get away with the workbook? Stellalarella
I can't say anything about age level, since I am using VOCR for DS in 7th grade, but I will say that I ordered just the workbook to start and then after struggling for a few weeks I ordered the answer key and test booklet. I got the answer key because it made it so much easier for DS to check his own work. We ordered the test booklet so that he would have a goal to work toward--i.e., succeeding on the test. Hope that helps.
lorrainejmc
Thanks. Looks like I need the TG.:glare::tongue_smilie:
DragonFaerie
DD uses VfCR4 right now and I definitely use the answer key and tests. For one thing, having the answer key makes it so I don't have to do all the work myself. hehehe.. But I also use the tests for weekly assessment. nansk
From what I have read (see this post) you need the answer key, but not the TG.
Stellalarella
I didn't buy the TG, just the answer key and test booklet. It's been 99% self study for my son.
lorrainejmc
It looks like the TG/answer key combined is all I can get in the UK.
