melissad2
I'm looking for a good bread machine that is not too expensive but does the job well. Any recommendations out there?
ZooRho
I found a Breadman at Goodwill for $9.
DawnM
I found an older Zojirushi (1.5 pound loaves) at a thrift store about 5 years ago for $7. It worked great, but then started sticking. I googled it and found out that it was a very easy fix with some lube/greece. Works perfectly again! Dawn

Bensmom
I love my Sunbeam bread maker. It was a gift from my in-laws so I don't know what it cost, but I have had it about 5 years and it works great. It came with a recipe book and takes me about 5 min. to put the ingredients together for a basic loaf and do clean up! Good-luck with you machine shopping:)
DawnM
Well, I have not seen one before or since! I have seen a lot of bread makers though, in fact, I think there is one every time I go there. I would maybe think about a 2nd hand one to try out. Dawn I wish I could get that lucky!
Truscifi
I found a Zojirushi on Ebay for $50. It is more than $7 of course (jealous!), but still a good deal for what I got.
DawnM
$50 is great. I really would LOVE one of those Zos that lay down in an actual loaf shape, but I don't want it badly enough to pay $200. Dawn I found a Zojirushi on Ebay for $50. It is more than $7 of course (jealous!), but still a good deal for what I got.

Lady Florida.
I've had a Sunbeam for almost 8 years and it still works great. I use it more for making dough lately, but it makes good bread too.
Tammyla
My huge, old-old breadmaker died a few years ago, and I went with making artisan bread from scratch...It was fun for awhile, but now I'd love another breadmaker. I'm going to check our local resale shops and see if any deals are to found.
Kareni
We're pleased with the Cuisinart Bread Maker we bought recently at a local department store. It looks like this one, but I believe we paid less. Regards, Kareni
JessieC
I'm looking for a good bread machine that is not too expensive but does the job well. Any recommendations out there? I have the West Bend Hi-Rise and it's excellent. http://www.amazon.com/West-Bend-41300-Electronic-Dual-Blade/dp/B002JM0ZWK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325466928&sr=8-
