PentecostalMom Posted January 1, 2012 Share Posted January 1, 2012 Haven't used Spelling Workout as of yet, it is on the way for us to begin 2nd semester. However, WTM says it is not needed for the first few books. I am hoping I can make it through 1st grade spelling without a TM, lol. I did use it for Abeka spelling with ds, but that has been years ago now! I definitely think it depends on what program you are using. Some programs you may need it right away, others not so much. I did a review spelling program with ds in middle school, Apples. There was not a TM with that and one was not needed.
