katilac
My darling b-i-l wants to buy one for me! :svengo: Before I spend a lot of his money, I thought I'd see if the quality is as high as it seems to be. Anyone have one?
fhjmom
I do not have a Vagabond nor a Cricut of any size, but I do have several different QuicKutz systems, a traditional Sizzix, and a Wishblade, plus I used to work at a scrapbook store and taught classes at both the store and conventions. I haven't been actively scrapbooking in a while though so I am a little out of the loop on new products. My thoughts - If I was going to spend that much money, I would rather have a true electric cutter that did not use dies (like a Cricut). With the electric cutters, you have so many more options, even with those that use cartridges, because you can set different sizes. Plus cartridges have many different different designs versus the one design on a die.

katilac
thanks, guys! I'm still researching, but the vids and reviews look fabulous. the electric cutters are very alluring as well, but I'm really loving the whole look and Tim Holtz vibe, so yeah, probably the Vagabond!
