busymama7 Posted December 28, 2011 Share Posted December 28, 2011 It was her big gift but was used off of craigs list so no warranty. The baby grabbed it and snapped off the top connecting piece. It is the lighted case for the keyboard and its $50!! I only paid $70 for the kindle plus the case. Sigh. Any ideas of what kid of repair place might be able to fix it? The little metal connectors are needed to make the electrical connection to the battery to run the light. I can't imagine a repair shop that could repair that for less than the cost of a new case or be willing to guarantee their work. I do hope that I am wrong though.
