If I do couch to 5K do you think it will strengthen? Or should I limit myself to walking? The ankle is weak and has been torn many times. MariannNOVA Posted December 25, 2011 Share Posted December 25, 2011 ouch! I have the same situation with my right ankle...coupled with the fact that I fractured it 5 years ago. I wear an ankle brace on it when I work out -- a good quality one. I haven't re-injured my ankle at all while working out -- now, my knee......:glare:....that has become another story.
