Parrothead
I'm planning mac and cheese (homemade with milk, 3 cheeses and eggs). I've actually put the casserole together and it is sitting in the fridge. In the past I've left casseroles overnight ready to bake the next day. I've never done it or heard it done with mac and cheese. Will it ruin if it is baked tomorrow? Or should I bake it today and reheat it tomorrow? ScoutTN
I'd bake it tomorrow. M & C dries out after it has been cooked. It's better fresh out of the oven! One of my favorite foods! :D

Jane Elliot
Yes, bake it tomorrow. Definitely tomorrow. My recipe is from Cooks Illustrated and it says that it can be refrigerated up to 3 days before baking.
Forget-Me-Not
I've done it with M&C with great results.
AK_Mom4
Yep - Mac and Cheese will sit happily in the fridge overnight unbaked.
